"Dear" Compass pendant

I designed this compass with antique acrostic jewellery in mind. Acrostic jewellery--jewellery using stones that have a secret hidden message by spelling out the first letter of each stone--is said to have been invented by Marie Antoinette's favourite jeweller in the 18th century.

This compass has a diamond, emerald, amethyst and ruby as the compass direction points, which spells out "dear'. I've been thinking about my inner compass and how I need to use what I hold dear to my heart as a guide. I hope this piece helps remind you of what is dear, what is important, what to focus on--helping to navigate this precious life xx
